Meet Darren

Darren Head is the award-winning landlord of The Riverdene in Basingstoke, located on Windrush Close.

A former IT salesman, he successfully revitalised the once-tired local venue into a vibrant community pub, earning him the prestigious Star Pubs Best Newcomer award.

Known for being a welcoming, family-friendly venue, The Riverdene under Darren's leadership features:

- Live Sports: Multiple large screens broadcasting major football, darts, and rugby fixtures.

- Entertainment: Regular live music karaoke, live music, and comedy nights.

- Facilities: Pool tables, dartboards, and an active pub sports scene, including the Riverdene Royals pool team.
